Established in 1999 with the launch of the BCA programme affiliated to Barkatullah University, the Department of Computer Science & Applications at Jawaharlal Nehru College, Bhopal has steadily evolved into a vibrant hub of IT education and innovation.

With the introduction of PGDCA in 2004 and M.Sc. (Computer Science) in 2004, the department has expanded its academic landscape to meet the dynamic and ever-growing demands of the global digital ecosystem.
