Overview
Established in 1999, the Department
of Humanities is one of the oldest and most prestigious departments of
Jawaharlal Nehru College, Bhopal. Since its inception, the department has
played a vital role in shaping socially aware, intellectually capable, and
professionally competent students.
The department initially offered
core subjects such as Psychology, English Literature, Sociology, and Economics.
Over the years, it expanded its academic scope by introducing Political
Science, History there by aligning itself with evolving academic and societal
needs.
